June 2014 is an exciting month for almost every man in the world for two reasons - the FIFA World Cup 2014 and Father's Day. So, what better way to celebrate these two occassions than to have a Father's Day and sports themed issue for Malaysia Tatler?

For our lead story, we talk to six fathers – Robin Ang, James Tee, Tunku Danny, John Chua, Bobby Ting and Nor Rahimi Rahim – about the joys of fatherhood and how sports brought them closer to their children.

Take our cover star, Robin Ang, who is a passionate golfer, as an example. He has begun taking his daughter, Nara Ang with him to the driving range and the golfing greens whenever he could. So far, clever Nara has actually learned to master the basics—hitting the golf ball with her club.

These six fathers are the indisputable coaches of their respectable 'teams' or what we all come to know as families.
