Family and friends of Dato’ Robert Geneid from all over the world flew to Mulu, Sarawak to attend his 60^th birthday celebration. Held in the ballroom of the Mulu Marriott Resort and Spa, the venue was transformed into a lush paradise in line with the party’s jungle theme. While everyone in the family chipped in to their part, the entire party was chiefly organised by the birthday boy’s daughter-in-law Mariam Teh. There was plenty of feasting and dancing but there were a few touching moments as well. Dato’ Robert’s three younger children, Muhammad, Amira and Alia Geneid, each shared a cherished memory of their beloved father onstage while his four siblings kept everyone laughing with their comical birthday dedication. Meanwhile, Dato' Farah Khan, Dimitri Pantazaras and Karim Khan won the best costume competition with their fun Native Indian costume.
