Dato’ Sri Bernard Chandran presented a Noveau-themed Petang Raya 2017/18 fashion collection, chronicling iconic styles of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, adding vibrance to this year's bevy of Raya collections. The designer reinterpreted traditional wear of kaftans, peplums, fishtails, baju kurung, sarong and baju kedah with his characteristic flair for embellishments, beading and embroidery, highlighting vibrant colour too.
VIPs in attendance included HRH Sultanah Kalsom of Pahang and Sultanah Nur Zahirah of Terengganu, and an eclectic mix of style stalwarts like Kavita Sidhu, Datuk Ramli Ibrahim and Chua sisters Carmen and Carmey.
