Since 2012, the Global Child Forum has been held bi-annually to shine light on children's rights, gathering global leaders in solidarity  to identify the challenges children are facing in today’s societies and find solutions to give them the opportunities to live their lives to the fullest. This year's edition was held in our very own Kuala Lumpur, following two successful editions prior in Dubai and South Africa. A long list of delegates and speakers were in town for the occasion, including His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden. They were officially welcomed at a special reception before the forum at Ritz-Carlton KL where other personalities like Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, Tunku Yaacob Khyra and Ahmad Idris Haris were present to receive them.
