Having called Malaysia home for many years, Grazia Iannarelli and her husband Andrea Ambra have forged many close friendships amongst locals and expats alike – as one could see from a recent gathering at Shangri-La Hotel KL for Grazia’s birthday party.

Organised by Dato’ Rosemarie Wee, the décor of red and gold created the right ambience for guests to mingle. In accordance to the party’s dress code of 1960’s Italy a la Sophia Loren, the birthday girl wore an exquisite Valentino dress.

There was plenty of singing, feasting and dancing all night along as guests including Captain Wee Eng Lee, Shawna Yap and Yap Teak Sing enjoyed each other’s company. At the end of the party, the warm-hearted Grazia presented her dear friend Donna Bachsin with a cake to congratulate her recent success in Indonesian politics.
