'Twas an elegant and merry affair as the Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur grand ballroom was filled to capacity with over 1,000 guests at this year’s 90th instalment of the St. Patrick’s Day Ball.

The VIPs of the night which included the St Patrick’s Society of Selangor president Sarah Wheeler Tan and Ireland ambassador HE Declan Kelly made a grand entrance to the unforgettable tunes of traditional Irish musicians and the bagpipes. The annual event also saw its guests dressed in their best and some gentlemen even came decked in traditional Irish kilts.
