Tatler Ball 2014: Inside the Ballroom

Following the cocktail reception, our distinguished guests adjourned to the grand ballroom for the dinner party where they wined and dined on the finest haute cuisine prepared exclusively by Executive Chef Rudolf Kunkel of Shangri-La Hotel.

Upon entering the ballroom, guests were greeted by a range of sleek silvery decor done in theme with our silver jubilee, along with two Infiniti automobiles and Samsung screens that showcased photos and snippets of previous Tatler Balls.

The night started with warm welcoming speeches by Managing Director of Malaysia Tatler, Florence Fang and CEO of Edipresse Asia, Barrie Goodridge followed by a celebratory toast from the Malaysia Tatler team to all guests in attendance. Italian Trade Commissioner Andre Ambra made a special appearance onstage to present an exclusive token, created by renowned Italian sculptor Oliviero Rainaldi, to celebrate Malaysia Tatler's 25th Anniversary.

Soon after the formalities, a scrumptious 5-course gourmet dinner was served as songstress Fiona Mariah surprised guests with her beautiful vocals on stage. Society figures also took the opportunity to round the room to catch up with friends and associates.
