It was a merry affair of food, dance and shopping in the spirit of charity and Deepavali during a Diwali Ladies Luncheon hosted by Lavina Valiram, Kanishta Jethwani, Vanita Nagpal and Sumitra Shekaran.

You could hear the festivities of music and laughter from The Bayu Room in JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur, as the guests celebrated an early Diwali during the luncheon. There was also a bazaar selling traditional Indian costumes, jewellery, scarves, bags and more, much to the delight of the ladies.

The afternoon was spent dancing to upbeat Bollywood tunes – everyone was just having a good time enjoying the sumptuous buffet lunch, performances by organisers and catching up with each other. As the afternoon wore on, it was clear that very few things were needed to make merry – food, music, and dance.
