Having graced the cover of Malaysia Tatler last year, and sharing the adorable meet-cute story of their relationship, Daryl Foong and Melissa Lam finally tied the knot with their loved ones as witnesses. The auspicious event took place over the span of two days; it first saw the couple go through the traditional Chinese tea ceremony, followed by an evening of merry-making on a Sunday at the wedding banquet dinner. In reflection of the newlyweds’ heritage, the Oriental-themed wedding had the grand ballroom of Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur dressed in red and white from floor to ceiling, accented by a beautiful Oriental layout of red lanterns and wall drapes, scarlet fruit-and-flower decor arrangements and a cake made in the shape of the ‘double happiness’ Chinese character.
