2014 was another year that saw insurmountable sums of money raised for the less fortunate. Charities began as early as February with Maison Francaise's 'Be Served by Big Bosses' fundraiser that saw various CEOs and industry leaders moonlighting as waiters for a good cause; meanwhile The Soroptimist Club of Sentul organised its 'Une Soiree A L'Orchid' charity fundraiser to help unfortunate women. May saw both The Melium Group and Malaysia Tatler celebrating their 25th anniversaries together with a joint charity auction to raise RM 2.5 million for 12 different charity bodies. In July, Dato' Rosemarie Wee and Florence Fang banded with Sharyn Wong and Grazia Iannarelli to host a charity dinner named 'Big Hearts for Little Hearts'. September saw the return of Estee Lauder's annual 'Pink Charity Ball' while October gave highlight to wild tigers when The Majestic Hotel teamed up with The Eastern & Oriental Express for 'The Majestic Tiger Ball'.
