Year in review: Store openings of 2014

If there was one thing that the social scene was abuzzed with throughout 2014, it was definitely the long list of new retail boutiques opening in Malaysia from MCM and Tory Burch to Caudalie and Breguet. For many of these brands, the openings also marked their first ever stores in the country. MCM celebrated its official opening with a guest appearance of international Korean artist Rain. In the world of horology, enthusiasts were greeted with a collection of antique Breguet watches to commemorate the opening of Breguet's first standalone boutique in Kuala Lumpur. We also had the official launch of Portluxe, an online pre-owned luxury boutique founded by Nur Nadia SM Nasimuddin.
