Tengku Ahmad Irfan

There are those who play music for fun and then there are people who are born virtuosos, like Tengku Irfan, who at the age of 19, has achieved more than his peers. The Juilliard School student is an all-in-one: a classical pianist, composer and conductor. Two years ago, this musical prodigy conducted the MusicaNova Orchestra to perform his own composition in Arizona. Recently, his composition Vivacity for Orchestra was premiered by the world-renowned conductor Kristjan Jarvi and the MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra.

Did you know: He occasionally visits retirement homes and plays music for the residents to enjoy.
