The votes are pouring in again for this year’s South East Asia Property Awards (Malaysia) 2015, the biggest industry event to celebrate top and emerging names in real estate, architecture and design as well as the best developers and projects across the country.

This year, a total of 20 awards in various categories are up for grabs, but all eyes are riveted on the year’s top honour, Best Developer.

Four major contenders are vying for it, namely Dynasty View Sdn Bhd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of UM Land Berhad), Mah Sing Group Berhad, Sime Darby Property Sdn Bhd and seven-time nominee SP Setia Berhad and subsidiaries.

Other nominees also standing a good chance include Ivory Properties Group, Mammoth Empire, Front Concept Sdn Bhd, and OSK Property Holdings.

This year’s event marks the first Property Awards programme in Malaysia since the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), which was feared to make a potential impact on the demand for real estate in the country.

On top of the 20 award categories, a special recognition will also be given to Malaysia’s Real Estate Personality of the Year, Dato’ Colin Tan, group managing director of Hatten Group.

The awards promise to be another exciting frontier for developers.

Tickets for the gala dinner and awards presentation ceremony happening at The JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur on 26 August 2015 are now available for purchase at the official website here.

Tickets will grant you access to the cocktail reception, a 4-course dinner and a unique networking venue for professional realtors in Malaysia following the awards.
