She was the one who made the word "petite" in vogue in the 90s with her striking looks and waifish figure. With over 25 years under her belt, her career is a stellar journey, which includes modelling, fashion designing, acting and music performances.
British supermodel Kate Moss has proven to us that she is so much more than just another iconic face. Now she wowed us again by becoming a budding interior designer.
She debuted her first foray in the world of home decor and design by giving a retro-glamour aesthetic to a luxury home, named "The Barnhouse", at The Lakes by Yoo in The Cotswalds, UK.
Moss's design also includes an art collection that brings in elements of rock and roll, with works by Allen Jones, Chris Levine, Damien Hirst and Mit Senoj, as well as Moss's own collaborations with Jake and Dinos Chapman and Chris Allen.
The pool at the Barnhouse
The five-bedroom home features a double-height reception space, an outdoor deck and a private pool and has an acre of private woodland, all set on a 650-acre rural estate that includes six lakes. The home is said to be inspired by a traditional English novel, with earthy undertones throughout.
Living room at the Barnhouse
The central living space features Talisman sofas and a log burner centerpiece and is said to create an intense and moody atmosphere. Moss worked with West Country-based crasftman David Haddock to contribute bespoke furnishings, including a TV cabinet featuring a silver thunderbolt paying homage to David Bowie.
Interior and exterior view of the Barnhouse
The home's design is said to "draw the exterior into its interior" with a soft, earthy color palette of Earth, Stone and Moon Grey. The Barnhouse features a double-height reception space, an outdoor deck and a private pool and has an acre of private woodland, all set on a 650-acre rural estate
Children's room at the Barnhouse
Bedrooms blend old and new for a modernized vintage appeal, and some feature House of Hackney fabrics and wallpapers that recreate William Morris's famous Victorian wallpaper designs.
Master bedroom at the Barnhouse
A four-poster stainless steel box bed custom-made by craftsman David Haddock is found in the master bedroom, which has been done in a Moon shade with a dusty grey shaggy carpet.
Price for that home starts at £2.5 million (RM6.73 million); find out more at http://www.thelakesbyyoo.com/properties/barnhouse.
