Conveniently located in the eclectic neighbourhood of Wan Chai, this 4.5 star boutique hotel offers al fresco dining and generously sized rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking vibrant city views.

Though swimming pools in Hong Kong are temporarily closed due to the pandemic, it's still worth mentioning their rooftop pool—another good reason to put this hotel at the top of your bucket list. The former Marine Police Headquarters recently underwent renovations and dropped the name Hullet House to rebrand as House 1881. Furnished to fit 21st-century standards with well-placed elements paying tribute to Hong Kong's past, the lavish hotel exudes timeless luxury.
