Although he started off on a path laid by his father, Jayden Liew eventually grabbed the reins and blazed off on his own. Aliya and Farouk Khan

Ooi Piek See
Ooi Piek See raised three boys on her own, one of whom – John-son Oei is a genuine ‘Force for Good.’ Her story of surviving the struggles of single-parenthood and watching her sons become success tatler_tatler_stories, made this cheerful lady a success story herself on our charts. Tan Sri AK & Narish Nathan
Tan Sri AK Nathan has found himself and his company, Eversendai in the international spotlight this past year, but it was his interview, done jointly with his son Narish that revealed a side of him the spotlight doesn’t show – humble, honest, hardworking and hopeful. All three of our features with some of high society’s most reverent couples made the top 10 of your most-read, with Datuk Wan Fusil Wan Mahmood and Datin Jude Khadijah, and their story coming tops.
Tun Dr Siti Hasmah
While her husband was throwing hats into rings again, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah celebrated several milestone’s this year – her 90th birthday, celebrated with friends and family, and the release of her memoirs – ‘My Name is Hasmah’. Her feature, with excerpts from the book earned the top spot in your most-read.

2016 also heralded the inauguration of Generation T – young trailblazers, setting the tone for Malaysia’s future. The video interviews of our Connectors, Creators, and Empowered generated as much interest as the Generation T party itself. Look forward to even more from our Generation T in 2017.
