DESIGNING THE INVITES

Keeping it simple, our invites were designed to reflect our distinguished guests and their penchant for class.

While our designers hard were at work, our most refined palates began...

ASSEMBLING THE MENU

With our closest partner, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur and their expert team of chefs led by chef Michael Gremer, we began creating and tasting our way to this year's delicious menu -- which will remain a surprise, for now.

COMPILING THE GUEST LIST

Because we wish we could invite a great many more people than we do, compiling the guest list is one of our most arduous tasks. From year to year, the list is never identical, leaving the door open for every new rising star to make the shortlist for the next Malaysia Tatler Ball.

DELIVERING THE INVITES

The envelopes that held our invites never met a stamp, the post office or a mail man, as they were hand-delivered to every one of our guests.

ARRANGING THE ENTERTAINMENT

Weeks were spent going through countless number of options to keep our guests entertained throughout dinner. Ultimately, we picked the best and most suited for a night that deserves nothing less.

As we came within a month of the ball, we got cracking on...

PLANNING THE DECOR

With the help of our many partners, we began methodically working on the decor of the entrance hall, the foyer, and the grand ballroom to ensure our guests can move through all areas comfortably and with ease.

THE TABLE ARRANGEMENT

Although we will welcome 500 guests, the table arrangment was not nearly as vexing, given the friendly and familiar relationships many of them share, making it a fun affair, even for the newcomers.
