It was a fine night of celebration at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur where Malaysia's crème de la crème gathered to celebrate the silver jubilee of Malaysia Tatler.

The night started off with guests arriving on the red carpet in the latest creations from fashion brands like Oscar de la Renta, Dolce & Gabbana, Saint Laurent and Alberta Ferretti. Then they were ushered into the cocktail reception where a glowing bar serving up refreshing Belvedere vodka cocktails and featuring a full wall of Hennessy X.O cognac stood as the main attraction.

Following the cocktail reception, our distinguished guests adjourned to the grand ballroom for the dinner party where they wined and dined on the finest haute cuisine prepared exclusively by Executive Chef Rudolf Kunkel of Shangri-La Hotel.

Italian Trade Commissioner Andre Ambra also made a special appearance onstage to present an exclusive token, created by renowned Italian sculptor Oliviero Rainaldi, to celebrate Malaysia Tatler's 25th Anniversary.

Guests of the night also witnessed the annual Tatler Awards presentation, where recognitions were given to six esteemed personalities for their work and achievements including Tan Sri Danny Tan, Soo Shea Pin and Professor Dr Adeeba Kamarulzaman.

Following an evening of fine food and the announcement of this year’s award-winners, the Malaysia Tatler 25^th Anniversary Ball ended with a grand finale that saw everyone letting loose on the dancefloor.
