Diptyque Eau de Lavande

Created from three different French lavenders, Diptyque's newest scent is an aroma that is sombre and woody, capturing the essence of the perfect gentleman.

Parisian fragrance house, Diptyque, has always enchanted the world with scents that speak to the emotions of the wearer. It has always prided itself as a fragrance brand that borrows the best of nature, with the spirit of its most renowned perfumes drawing inspiration from flowers.

This year, a new fragrance from Diptyque is set to court your imagination – the Eau de Lavande. At the core of this new collection is the lavender flower, a small flower that turns the fields of Southern France a bright blue.

Wise and friendly, the new fragrance evokes intimate memories of blue fields warmed by the sun. Lavender may be a flower, but when it is dried, takes on an aroma that is more sombre and woody, perfectly capturing the essence of the perfect gentleman.

Created from the blends of three different French lavenders,  each bottle is warm and subtle, alive and delicate with invigorating blooms of nutmeg, cinnamon and Coriander seeds.

To complete the portrait, the bottle and packaging of the scent equally bring out the majesty of the flower. The box is decorated with tightly bunched lavender flowers and bordered in the same colour, housing the 100ml bottle that maintains Diptyque's iconic oval shape that expresses the freshness of a fountain. The 20ml roll-on is illustrated with scattered, colourful sprigs, which unfurl and look up to the sky with joyful energy, similar to the emotions Diptyque hopes to emulate within the wearer.
