Evian Spa Tokyo, Tokyo Palace Hotel

Therapies focused on mineral enrichment of Evian water headline the menu, each a sophisticated combination of French technology and Asian remedies.

Evian, the natural mineral water from the French Alps, has long sold the idea of health through water. Now, instead of merely drinking it, you can also pamper yourself to an indulgent spa with the precious water long favoured by dignitaries and celebrities throughout Europe.

Tokyo Palace Hotel in Japan is the first in this part of the world to offer the renowned spa that first saw light at the Evian Resort from France. Called the Evian Spa Tokyo, it offers spa treatments that, just like the one in France, are inspired by the Evian water journey.

The spa is made up of 1,200 square metres of Alpine-inspired space, beautifully juxtaposed against its natural setting outside. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows offer a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji on a clear day and white marble saunas equipped with top-of-the-line equipments make for the perfect urban retreat in the heart of the city.

The whole place is designed to be a metaphorical reflection of the journey Evian water takes through the Alps – the loose stone garden in the reception signifies the water’s source from the mountaintops, and the ceiling of the treatment rooms reflect ripples in a pond. Each treatment room within the facility is also aptly named after a peak in the Alps.

Facials, body scrubs, therapies and rituals focused on  mineral enrichment and nourishment headline the menu, each a sophisticated combination of French technology and Asian remedies. Signature to the spa is the Vitalizing Signature Treatment – an experience created exclusively for Evian Spa Tokyo that is a therapeutic blend of traditional Japanese seitai acupuncture-style trigger point work with a deep tissue massage.

Immerse yourself in the exquisite comfort here at the Evian Spa Tokyo, while time passes by you unnoticed.
