Bold and tropical, the latest collection from the French makeup artist's namesake brand is sexy above all else. This new summer makeup line is due to hit stores starting in late May.

After choosing soft and romantic tones for its spring line, Watercolour Clouds, Laura Mercier is turning up the heat with "Un Été à Ibiza" ("Summer in Ibiza"), featuring a range of bolder shades.

This summer, the Laura Mercier woman will be sensual, laid back, chic and -- most of all -- confident in herself and her seductive charm. When developing this new line, the brand focused on cosmetics that are easy to apply and to wear after a long day on the beach.

Bronzed cheeks and shimmery eyes

Already glowing thanks to the summer sun, the cheeks take on just a hint of sheer bronzing powder or gel, while the gaze is framed in liquid gel eyeshadows in silver, bronze and gold tones.  

And while bold eyes typically call for more understated lips, this collection doesn't settle for subtle, opting instead for stunning red and coral lip colors.

The products in the new line include the Eye Glace liquid gel eyeshadows in in Moonglaze, Blazing Sun and Wet Sand, the Baked Blush Bronze Compact in Ritual, the Face Illuminator in Indiscretion, the Creme Smooth lipstick in Portofino Red and the Paint Wash liquid lip color in Sunblaze. There is also a moisturising bronzing gel, for those who prefer to protect their skin from the sun's rays and fake their sun-kissed glow.

The "Un Été à Ibiza" collection goes on sale from late May at select stores.
