Modern Muse is about duality, about the ability of a woman to be more than meets the eye. On the nose, it is composed of subtle contrasts and bold contradictions that are both layers of strength and softness. Sparkling jasmine brings luminous texture of femininity to the bouquet, while the end sleek woody notes blends style, strength and sensuality. Opening with a youthful and energetic palette, it closes with quite the opposite – a rich amber and soft musky sensual finish.
That spirit is also part of the Modern Muse package design. In colour, the perfume is a tender blush pink strengthened by a deep navy blue cap, a colour that is trademark of the Estēe Lauder brand. In shape, it is a tall luxurious glass bottle, but softened with rounded sides. In attitude, the squarish bottle marries modern drama with the classic accents of fine gold. A bow adorns the spray-through cap, putting a defining touch on a bottle that gives the impression of always being perfectly dressed.
