After a spring collection inspired by the hot hues of Florida, cosmetics brand Bobbi Brown looked to Colorado's San Juan Mountains for its new summer makeup line.
While most brands go with more intense and vibrant colors for summer, Bobbi Brown is setting itself apart with a range of metallic shades calling to mind the late afternoon sun in Telluride.
A natural glow
Inspired by a mountain landscape at twilight, the new Telluride collection features a range of metallic colors -- from gold-flecked mauve to shimmery nude -- chosen to deliver a subtle glow to the complexion.
The line includes the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Sunset Pink, which highlights and illuminates the skin with iridescent particles. There are also two new shades of the Pot Rouge cheek and lip tint: Telluride (a warm mauve) and Maui (coral pink).
Alpenglow eyes
For the eyes, Bobbi Brown offers the Telluride Eye Palette, with seven colors inspired by the sunsets of the San Juan mountains: cream, rosewood, earth, brown, pink and shimmery mauve and matte mauve.
The natural and subtle look extends to the lips as well with three shades of Bobbi Brown's Lip Trio, including Lip Gloss, Sheer Lip Color and Lip Pencil.
