Bao Bao Issey Miyake at Pavilion KL

Widely known for its geometrical patterns, Bao Bao Issey Miyake has finally opened its first boutique in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

Bao Bao Issey Miyake, a special line of bags and accessories created with repeated triangular pieces, is a subsidiary brand under the Issey Miyake umbrella. Now the iconic label has landed on the shores of Malaysia, launching its first boutique in the prestigious Pavilion Mall in Kuala Lumpur.

When you enter the boutique, you will be greeted by triangular white shelves that stretches across the angled black glass walls, contrasting the bags and accessories with its monotone background. White floors and chrome finishes on the front façade further enhance the store’s minimalist aesthetic.

Spanning a total of 380 square feet, the boutique houses the brand’s latest women’s and men’s Spring Summer 2015 bags and accessories collection.

Bao Bao Issey Miyake is designed with the theme of “shapes made by chance" in mind. Its wide array of products is flexible and functional – adapting perfectly to the busy and modern lifestyles of trendsetters everywhere. Since its inception in 2000, the brand has expanded its product range through its pursuit of intriguing shapes born out of simple pieces and diverse materials.
