It takes a special kind of man to drive a BMW MINI. We’re envisioning someone stylish, someone rugged with a sophisticated edge, and of course, someone is always one step ahead in the game of life. 

In conjunction with the 88^th Pitti Uomo – the world’s most esteemed event for menswear and accessories – and the launch of the latest BMW MINI Clubman, MINI is paying homage to every MINI gentleman with a capsule collection of fashion and grooming accessories.

It has collaborated with 6 different designers, who are also the 6 talented heads behind the gentleman’s fashion fair, to create the MINI Gentleman’s Collection. 

SuperDuper, TYG Spectacles, Alberto Premi, Pijama, Paola Bottai and Proraso are proud to present 6 premium accessories that combine Italian craftsmanship with creative and innovative details, just like the new MINI Clubman.

 

SuperDuper: The gentleman’s hat 

As a label known for combining traditional millinery with modern design and striking details, the brand premiered a handmade hat made of premium-grade felt. Crafted in its classical form – circular – the materials are high class with an inner band inspired by the leather of premium upholstery used in the new MINI Clubman. 

TYG Spectacles: The gentleman’s shades

TYG, which stands for ‘Three Young Gentlemen’ knows that sunglasses are an indispensable asset for the gentleman and as such has crafted two pairs for the collection. They combine high-grade acetate with brushed metal for an individual, elegantly sporty look with an elliptical form and minimalist design that reflect the signature features of the new MINI Clubman. 

Alberto Premi: The gentleman’s shoes

Voted by MINI as the most talented young designer at last year’s 87^th Pitti Uomo, Alberto Premi has shoe-making in his blood. This year, living up to his title, he has come up with an urban yet elegant pair of shoes made of the finest hand-cut upper leather combined with a modern, ultralight micro sole.

Pijama: The gentleman’s bag

Pijama, which trademark is its use of neoprene combined with a wide range of textiles, is personifying ‘stylish flexibility’ with its offering – a bag specially created to celebrate the collection. It can be used as a backpack, briefcase, or shoulder bag with a clever inner bag system – not unlike the new MINI Clubman – that offers maximum storage and top-notch protection.

Paola Bottai: The gentleman’s fragrance 

Like the new MINI Clubman, the perfume fragrance created by Italian perfumer Paola Bottai is ‘classy, cosmopolitan and a little mysterious’ that ‘lets details speak for themselves’. A primarily woody scent, it is interspersed by spicy notes that evoke distant lands.

Proraso: The gentleman’s shaving kit 

Facial grooming takes on a extra stylish note with this vintage shaving kit created by Florence-based brand Proraso, renowned for its wet-shave classics. A classic shaving brush, pre-shaving cream, shaving cream and aftershave balm come housed in a special package designed by Italian illustrator Pietro Nicolaucich.
