Shu Qi for Bulgari's Save The Children

Bulgari donates €500,000 to support Save the Children’s humanitarian response to help children affected by the Nepal earthquake.

After the devastating earthquake in Nepal, many around the world have joined hands to reach out to its residents affected by the disaster and this includes Bulgari.

Known for its long-term philanthropic deeds with the Save The Children initiative, Bulgari was quick to step in to lend a helping hand by donating €500,000 (RM 2 million) to the organistion's humanitarian response.

With Bulgari's contribution, Save The Children aims to help normalise the lives and living conditions of the children and families affected by the earthquake.

CEO of the Bulgari Group, Jean-Christophe Babin says, "We need to do as much as we can, and as quickly as we can. The children and their families are our first priority. Especially in the critical area of nutrition which is the focus of Milano 2015 Universal Exhibition where we already collaborate with Save the Children on this crucial theme."

So far, Save The Children has been deploying a multi-sector intervention to reach up to 1 million of the most affected people in an effort to respond to the basic needs of children and their families in terms of health, education and protection.

From reuniting children with their parents to providing basic supplies and setting up learning spaces and rehabilitating damaged schools, Bulgari and Save The Children are doing everything they can to support the victims of the Nepal earthquake.
