Directed by Karl Lagerfeld, the new fashion film "Reincarnation' for the Chanel Paris/Salzburg 2014/15 Métiers d'art collection stars Pharrell Williams and Cara Delevingne as Austrian aristocrats.

Chanel released a new fashion film titled "Reincarnation", for its coming Paris/Salzburg 2014/15 Métiers d'art collection, starring Pharrell Williams and Cara Delevingne and directed by Karl Lagerfeld.

The 7 minute film starts off in the Austrian hotel, where British model and actress Cara Delevingne and American singer Pharrell Williams make their first appearances as employees of the hotel.

Then when night falls, Cara and Pharrell come to life as Austrian aristocrats who dance and sing to the film's orginal soundtrack, titled "CC The World", composed by Pharrell himself. In the film, the pair are seen wearing clothes that take the viewer back to the full glories of the Viennese imperial court.

In the film, the late Mademoiselle Gabrielle Coco Chanel (played by Geraldine Chaplin) also make a cameo appearance, where she mingles with the high society within the setting.

From the film, it shows the inspiration that Austria had given to Mademoiselle Chanel to create the iconic 'Little Black jacket' back in the the 1950s and indicates the Austrian influence to the coming Métiers d'Art show in Salzburg, which will be showing on 2nd December 2014.

Towards the end of the film, Mademoiselle Chanel catches sight of the jacket of the lift attendant (also played by Pharrell) and says, "Well, I am going to make it for me". Hence, the Chanel jacket was born.
