When it comes to the saying beauty with a cause, no other brand lives up to the calling better than Dior.

Annually, the brand goes online with its charitable cause simply called the Dior Auction, where fans of the brand stand a chance to bid on elite experiences and luxury items that are available exclusively through Dior and selected partners. On the list includes vintage handbags, passes to Dior Couture Salon & Perfumery Lab, tickets to the NYC Ballet, invites to Hollywood movie premieres, and a lunch with Dior’s CEO, Pamela Baxter, among others.

But what stands the auction apart from countless others taking place on the internet, is that 100% of all proceeds go to the ‘Look Good, Feel Better’ organisation, a body dedicated to helping women cope with the appearance-related effects of cancer and its treatments.

To be part of this and bid on an auction prize, simply register yourself here. The auction utilises a proxy bidding method whereby you enter your maximum bid and the site takes care of everything else for you. It will bid for you in increments until it reaches your max bid and should you be out-bid, you will receive an email asking if you would like to increase your figures. Your credit card information will be requested but you will not be charged a single cent unless you are the winner of your bid at auction close.

Winning bidders will be contacted by Dior Marketing within a week of auction close and in the cases of travel-related prizes, will be given up to a year to claim them unless stated otherwise.

Thus far, $84,070USD (RM273,731) has been raised from auction bids as well as donations. This auction is ongoing until the 10th of October 2014.
