From now till 25th August 2015, you can experience the enchanting world of Christian Dior at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul.

After its wildly successful Espirit Dior exhibition in Tokyo, the French fashion house has moved on to Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul, South Korea, to offer us a glimpse into the extraordinary world of Christian Dior.

The exhibition opened its doors on 20th June and celebrities from around the world flew in to celebrate the occasion. Caroline Issa, Woo Sung Jung, Aymeline Valade and Pierre Hermé were some of the most notable names to grace the opening night.

Joining hands with six iconic Korean artists – Do-Ho Suh, Lee Bul, Heryun Kim, Kim Dong-Yoo, Kiwon Park and Seon-Ghi Bahk – the exhibition showcases the archived designs of Monsieur Dior himself as well as the many iconic creations by its predecessor including Yves Saint Laurent, John Galliano and Raf Simons.

The exhibition explores several themes that hold true to the spirit of The Dior including 'The Look', 'Dior and His Artist Friends' and 'J'Adore'.

Celebrated pâtissière Pierre Hermé says, "It's splendid. It really shows off all the creativity and craftsmanship of the House of Dior."

Pierre Hermé has also opened a dedicated cafe adjacent to Dior's flagship store in Seoul to marry the beauty and artistry that connects both brands together.

On the other hand, renowned fashion model Aymeline Valade applauds Dior for its creativity saying, "You really see all the sides of Christian Dior; the artist, the architect, his passion for flowers and gardens, and at the same time it's extremely modern."

Open to the public from now till 25th August 2015, the Espirit Dior Seoul Exhibition is hosted inside Dongdaemun Design Plaza and there are also guided tours available for bookings. Admission is free.
