Known for its craftmanship in fur, Fendi is set to debut a fur focused haute couture collection at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week in July.

As one of the most established Italian fashion houses, Fendi announces its debut into the haute couture sector, offering a range of never-before-seen fur creations, come July 2015.

Treated as the ultimate expression of the Maison's creativity and craftmanship in fur, Fendi will present the Haute Fourrure collection in Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, which also coincides with Karl Lagerfeld's 50th year of collaboration with the Italian brand.

In this collection, expect to see a wide range of intricately made-to-order couture creations that projects the unique aesthetics of Lagerfeld.

Lagerfeld says, “For me Fur is Fendi and Fendi is Fur, Fun Furs! Fendi is my Italian version of creativity. The Fendi Haute Fourrure fashion show is the opportunity to stage the Royal Furs of Furs”.

Since 1965, Lagerfeld has never failed to impress Fendi's patrons with luxurious and innovative creations including the recent Bag Bug collection, which has become one of the new signatures of Fendi.

The debut of the show also marks the first time ever to see a designer helming two haute couture shows on the same day. With Largefeld's impressive repertoire and success, we have no doubts that the coming shows will be another raving success.

With this new and exciting venture, Fendi will also be the first luxury brand to host its own in-house Fur atelier. The collection showcased in Couture Fashion Week will only be available for made-to-order services.

After the fashion week showcase, Fendi also plans to bring the collection on a world tour to cities like London, Tokyo, Seoul, New York and Hong Kong for custom orders.
