VIktor & Rolf

Haute Couture Week just got a whole lot more exciting with  Jean-Paul Gaultier, Viktor & Rolf, Fendi, Elie Saab and Alexis Mabille.

Jean Paul Gaultier
Jean-Paul Gaultier took the audience on a sensory journey through Brittany with his creative collection featuring structured tailoring and theatrically exaggerated crepe-shaped skirts.

The designer's collection featured intricate gold thread embroidery typical of Breton bagad costumes.

Haute Fourrure Fendi
Karl Lagerfeld's 'Haute Fourrure' collection for Fendi was as extravagant as it was controversial, featuring sweeping coats made from mink, chinchilla and sable.

The designer, who was celebrating 50 years at the house, layered the fur outwear over space-age style metallic jumpsuits.

Viktor & Rolf
Viktor & Rolf's 'Wearable Art' collection pushed the boundaries with abstract forms including hinged dresses. The canvas-like pieces could have been made for hanging in wardrobes or galleries and it was assembled immediately on the runway by the duo.

Alexis Mabille
Alexis Mabille's collection was an ode to the feminine form, featuring glamorous gowns such as this lace creation with tulle ruffling at the sleeves.

Elie Saab
