Karl Lagerfeld x Tiffany Cooper capsule collection

Hot off the racks, the new Karl Lagerfeld collection features Tiffany Cooper's humourous artworks of the Kaiser and his cat Choupette.

Often indulging himself with humour and self-mockery, Karl Lagerfeld has done it again with a new cartoon-themed capsule collection for his eponymous label, which was launched on 1st April 2015.

No. This is not an April Fools' Day prank, which many has done for the past day. It has been officially confirmed that the collection is currently for sale at Colette, Paris and will be available in Karl Lagerfeld outlets from 4th April onwards.

This time around, the famous designer of Chanel and Fendi tapped the talented cartoonist Tiffany Cooper to create a series of comic strip styled illustrations of himself and his beloved Choupette.

The capsule collection features classic fashion pieces including shoulder bags, sweaters, caps and shoes. Each of them is playfully decorated with cartoon forms of Karl and Choupette, which will have everyone all smiles for its funny actions and expressions.

Our favourite will have to be the t-shirt of Karl and Choupette in hula skirts, playing the ukelele by the beach. Another top contender is the dancing Karl Lagerfeld tanktop where you see him twirling and grooving to the beat.

If you are more of a Choupette fan, then you will love the Choupette-shaped cap and box clutch – perfect for a street chic outfit.

The collection is currrently available at Colette, Paris and will arrive in other outlets in the coming week. For more information, visit Karl Lagerfeld's official website.
