Understanding exactly this dilemma of today’s tech-savvy and fashion-forward stylistas, Kate Spade New York is proud to announce its newest line of bags that may solve the above hitch forever.
The American fashion brand has teamed up with Everpurse, a seed-funded startup birthed on Kickstarter, to launch a new collection of designer bags that come complete with in-built iPhone chargers.
Yes you read right – the technology, which took 10 months to create is now a reality, one that is as near as this Fall 2015.
The design will be simple, with chic bags, purses, clutches, wristlets and more that don’t look out of the ordinary, built in with charging slots in its folds. At the moment, it is catered only to Apple users, charging iPhones from the iPhone 5 to iPhone 6 Plus.
The charging of the bag itself it as just as neat and tidy. No messy wires are required to be plugged into walls, only a charging mat from which wireless energy is sent.
Look out for the bags in Kate Spade stores beginning September as well as Everpurse.com. Prices are estimated to cost between $198 and $698 (around RM713 and RM2513).
