From Alexander McQueen's suit, Ann Demeulemeester's all white outfit to Valentino's pyjama ensemble, we bring you the hottest trends from all of the menswear spring/summer 2015 fashion weeks.

After a month-long rush, the menswear spring/summer 2015 fashion weeks have finally come to an end. From London, Milan to Paris, this season’s menswear collections blew our socks away with its myriad of trends and styles.

For those who are already planning their shopping list for the coming year, let us take you through the hottest menswear trends from the spring/summer 2015 collections.

(L-R) Alexander Wang, Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta

Utility chic
From overalls to parkas jackets, the coming season will see a big surge in utilitarian wear where comfort and practicality take priority. At Bottega Veneta, the sporty and retro beachwear-inspired look is a big hit, while Louis Vuitton surprises its audience with a striking pink overall among other blue-collar inspired looks. Over on the New York side, Alexander Wang gives us a classic parka in navy that will never go out of style.

(L-R) Dolce & Gabbana, Junya Watanabe, Alexander McQueen

Bold and beautiful
We all love our classic tailored suits that can cater to any formal occasions, but for the coming season, muster up the courage to take risks with bold printed suits that will make you the talk of the town. Alexander McQueen and Dolce & Gabbana lead this trend with a range of sexy tailored suits in the boldest prints you’ve ever seen. For those who like the bohemian look, try to suit up with the patchwork ensemble by Junya Watanabe.

(L-R) MSGM, Vivienne Westwood, 3.1 Phillip Lim

Checked mania
Square prints are the new polka dots of spring/summer 2015, as seen in labels like 3.1 Phillip Lim, MSGM and Vivienne Westwood. The classic chequered print, used for men’s suits, has been giving a facelift to create a range of contrasting and unique patterns. Lim has created a graph paper inspired print, while Westwood shows a rendition of the classic plaid to add fun and spirit to a man’s wardrobe.

(L-R) Neil Barrett, Ann Demeulemeester, Gucci

White on white
If crazy prints are not to your taste, then try going for the white-on-white look to evoke the suave gentleman, circa Richard Gere in 'American Gigolo'. This is the go-to ensemble for a summer holiday at the beaches. For a sharp and mature look, Gucci has it sorted out with touches of naval inspiration in its suits, whereas the street cool Neil Barrett collection is a great option for younger gentlemen. If you prefer a more laid-back approach, Ann Demeulemeester is definitely the label to wear.

(L-R) Dries Van Noten, Valentino, Paul Smith

Pyjama party
Louche rock 'n' roll silk pant and shirt is another big trend for the summer shows. Paul Smith goes with navy tones for his version, pairing them with colourful summer knits. At Dries Van Noten, the Belgian designer uses pale gold, red, burgundy and navy, while Valentino displays a similar theme with its grown-up pyjama prints with tough floral and mythological scenes.
