Michael Kors Watch Hunger Stop Campaign

In conjunction of World Food Day, Michael Kors has released a limited edition timepiece to add on to his existing collection that supports the United Nations World Food Programme.

In honour of the coming World Food Day 2014, Michael Kors has launched a limited edition watch to support Watch Hunger Stop, the brand’s ongoing initiative to fight global hunger.

For the month of October, patrons of Michael Kors will be able to purchase a special limited edition 100 Series timepiece, retailing at USD295 (RM1,000), to show their support of World Food Day and of the United Nations World Food Programme.

This limited edition piece is the highlight of this year’s initiative, adding to the existing collection that was launched in 2013. The new model features a rose gold-tone stainless steel case and bracelet with a detailed map of the world etched on the colorful gray-blue dial. Michael Kors’ signature is engraved on the back.

For each 100 Series watch sold, the company will donate USD25 (RM75) to provide a nutritious meal to 100 children in hunger-stricken areas and there will also be an in-store donation programme through the month that allows visitors to contribute to the World Food Programme.

Established in 2013, Michael Kors has helped the World Food Programme deliver more than five million meals to hungry children through the sales of the 100 Series watch.

Along with the existing 100 Series collection, the new watch is now available exclusively in Michael Kors stores worldwide and online at michaelkors.com starting in October 2014. It will retail for $295.
