Fun accessories and eyeglasses that often echo the latest fashion trends are often seen on the ready-to-wear runways. But what if designers approached eyewear as a form of jewellery? Setting out to do just that, Silhouette has introduced the elegant Crystal Diva eyeglass frames.
Handmade in the brand's Austrian workshops, the multi-layer 23K gold-plated frames are adorned with around 200 Swarovski crystals of one millimeter each in diameter. These jewels are applied to the branches using a technique known as "Cristal Appliqué," which is said to offer optimal shimmer.
The branches are available in three colors: Rhodium Crystal, Gold Crystal and Gold Vintage Rose. These bejewelled eyeglass frames are available for €799 (around RM3,395).
