Nadia Anwar Tan

Nadia Anwar Tan, one of the five budding Malaysian fashionistas for our March issue, talks about her bold choices in fashion and upcoming fashion purchases.

Always dressed to impress, Nadia Anwar Tan never fails to put her best look forward when it comes to fashion - be it for work, leisure or even our recent photoshoot for the March 2015 issue.

As an investment banker, her clothing needs to be more formal and minimal but Nadia manages to push the boundaries of workwear with her impeccable styling sensibilities.

Nadia says, "Maybe because of where I work, I tend to buy more minimal and classy pieces for my wardrobe, but I always try to add a pop of colour to everything I wear."

When it comes to her styling rules, she is one who refuse to believe there is such a thing as a 'fashion no-no'.

She explains, "It all boils down to how you want to wear it and how you envision it. For me, I’m a ‘never say never’ kind of girl. It’s always fun to step out of your own comfort zone."

Here, we find out what's in Nadia's spring shopping list, which includes Chanel, Sam Edelman and Farah Khan.

Farah Khan Pre-Spring/Summer 2015
"I love the fact that she uses all these architectural and pop-art designs in her collection. The silhouettes are simply amazing, especially the Barbara top (middle look)!"

Chanel Cruise 2015
"I just went to the Cruise collection show recently in KL and I fell in love with all the different prints in the collection."

Sam Edelman Spring 2015
"They are great for casual and comfort wear. Plus they are a little on the sweeter side of fashion."
