For as long as we can remember, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur has had a rock solid reputation for being one of the top luxury hotels in Malaysia and for providing an exceptional guest experience.
The award-winning hotel has been a pioneer in the industry since 1985 and it recently underwent a major upgrade to refresh its look and feel.
The Lemon Garden, ballrooms and function rooms all underwent a complete renovation that took four months and they're finally open for business again.
Here’s what you can expect from the new refurbishments.
The All New Lemon Garden
The fan favourite Lemon Garden has been completely transformed to a more inviting and cosy outlet. Designed by Bond Design Studio Inc from Japan, it’s easy to spot the oriental influences in the new interior. The walls are lined with framed glass while the ceiling features pendant lights and yellow light orbs. The outdoor section features a relaxing garden terrace and alfresco dining area overlooking a koi pond and water fountain.
More Buffet Counters
The Lemon Garden Cafe still offers the largest buffet variety in town but with more buffet counters added this time. You can indulge your taste buds with tantalising food of the local and international variety such as Indian, Chinese, Western, Italian, Malay, Thai, seafood and desserts.
‘Memory Makers’ at all Buffet Stations
Each buffet station now features its own signature item called ‘memory makers’. For example, the Double-boiled Black Chicken Soup from the Chinese station and Jackfruit Puff from the dessert station.
Advanced Technology in Ballrooms
Step through the new artistically crafted white timber doors and dazzling crystal chandeliers that make up the entrance of the new Grand Ballroom. The ballrooms are now fitted with state-of-the-art technology that feature superior audio-visual and communication systems, sophisticated lighting systems, large high definition LED screens and complimentary Wi-Fi connection.
Flexible Fuction Rooms
The 13 new function rooms now offer the same advanced technology as the ballrooms and is likely to be the most flexible meetings and events venue in town.
