Tumi, the leading brand of premium travel, business and lifestyle accessories, is once again raising standards on travelling in style with a new range of luggage that marries form and function, fluid elements of nature and the exacting lines in architecture.
The new 19 Degree is being touted as the pinnacle of travel gear, being made of meticulously crafted aluminium so it is strong yet lightweight. Finished with a cutting edge design of strategically sculpted angles, it subtly gleams when it catches light, lending it a look of fluidity.
The new collection features a reinforced framecase design – with two snap closures for carry-on bags and three snap closures for check-in bags – and die-cast corner caps for additional protection. Inside, it is expertly designed with organisational features including a lightweight lining with an embossed diamond print that matches the unique exterior pattern.
The range consists of the full carry-on and check-in sizes, from an international carry-on through an extended trip packing case. Each features integrated low-profile TSA locks, Tumi Tracers, retractable molded tops and side carry handles wrapped in luxurious leather detailing.
Additionally, its handles are crafted from lightweight aircraft-grade aluminium to make it as light as possible and its four dual-spinning recessed wheels are engineered for effortless maneuverability as well as greater packing capacity inside.
Available in silver and matte black, the range is retailing for RM5,500-RM7,710 at Tumi retail stores worldwide and www.tumi.com now.
Taking inspiration from the 19 Degree aluminium, there is also a polycarbonate version that is equal parts stylish and lightweight. Hardy polycarbonate is masterfully wrapped in a special reflective film to reflect light just like the aluminium versions. These retail at RM3,290-RM3,890 and is available in silver, black and copper.
Right here is more reason to drop by Tumi's new concept store at The Gardens Mall.
