Tim Cook has revealed that Apple is working with French luxury brand Hermes to make its Apple Watch even more stylish and exclusive.

The Hermes edition Apple Watches will feature premium leather bands and an exclusive Hermes watch face.

Apple will also be updating its existing range of smartwatches too.

New finishes for the connected time pieces include gold and rose gold in anodized aluminium for the Sport Edition line up. And continuing the company's support of Singer Bono's AIDS charity, a product RED version will also soon be launched.

Other updates include a range of new coloured rubberized straps and two-tone leather straps that will reflect next season's fashion trends and that are of course compatible with existing models.

Other brands jumping onto the smartwatch bandwagon: TAG Heuer, in collaboration with Google and Intel, no less.
