Corum Coin 50th Anniversary

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Corum Coin Watch, new versions of the iconic watch is introduced in 22-carat gold and 925-sterling silver.

With the success of the Admiral Cup which made its debut in 1957, Corum also launched another iconic timepiece which has grown to be a household name among avid watch collectors. The Corum Coin Watch made its debut in 1964 with the famous $20 Double Eagle on the dial.

Five decades later, the iconic watch is marking its 50th anniversary with the introduction of a re-mastered version of the watch with 22-carat gold and 925-sterling silver American Liberty Coins.

Limited to only 100 pieces each, Corum's selection of coins includes the American 50$ Gold Eagle as well as the 1$ Silver Eagle, both of which were minted in 2014.

Sticking to Corum’s traditional standards, the gold version comes with a diameter of 36mm in a slim case while the silver version is in a bold 43mm case. Both versions also carry a diamond on its crown for an extra touch of class and elegance.

At the heart of these exquisite timepieces is the automatic CO082 movement, which not only represents the deep historical roots within Corum, but also its flawless technical craftsmanship.

The Corum Coin Watch was dubbed the 'Presidential Watch' as it was worn by esteemed members in American history like the six successive United States Presidents ranging from Lyndon B. Johnson to Bill Clinton – Gerald Ford being the only U.S. President excluded from the list – as well as political scientist and diplomat Henry Kissinger.

With over 50 years of history, the Corum Coin Watch is undisputedly one of the more finer timepieces a collector can have.
