According to chef-proprietor Jeff Ramsey, all of Babe's Tokyo Street Edition To-Go Meals were developed for delivery. The considerate chef even took his first batch of customers' comments to heart by replacing the truffle nori fries (which tend to get soggy) with super slow-cooked chips. "They're exxxtra crunchy," enthused the chef seconds after sending us a WhatsApp photo of some promising-looking potato chips in a deep vat of bubbling oil.

While all your favourites on Bistro à Table's à la carte menu are still available, Chef Isadora Chai has also concocted a Family Roast Care Package that feeds up to four hungry diners. What's on the cards for RM278? One main source of protein (smoked Australian Wagyu; organic roasted garlic butter chicken; New Zealand rack of lamb; or a whole baked seabass) four sides (handmade pasta, fig & parmesan salad, truffle mashed potatoes, charred corn & tomato salsa) and dessert in the form of freshly baked apple pie.

Having only opened late last year, this quaint eatery has accumulated a steady following for passionately pairing Japanese cuisine with local seafood and produce. Each curated bento box comes with Chef Jack's choice of protein, steamed rice and 3 sides. Sashimi bowls, on the other hand, are layered with 5 melt-in-your-mouth slices of fish. Most everyone has heard of Marcus Low, the pastry chef extraordinaire behind MadHatter Desserts, but few know that Low also excels at making savoury dishes. After all, MadHatter Desserts only rolled out its brunch menu two months ago. The café in Damansara Uptown is currently serving Asian chicken burgers and a beef chilli con carne stew that will stick to your ribs. A mini dessert is included with every lunch order.

TATLER TIP: Since you're getting something to go from MadHatter anyway, why not pick up a loaf of sourdough or rustic white bread? The bakery selection changes daily, so call ahead to ask what's available.
