If you're in the mood for Italian while you're downtown shopping in Bukit Bintang, bookmark Bello in Pavilion for pork-free crowd favourites. The restaurants boasts having the only wood-fired oven in the shopping destination, with daily made pasta and pizza dough to ensure quality dishes. I mean, who doesn't love a good pizza?

3. The Type That's All About Good Food And Good Booze

Over at the increasingly popular Plaza Arkadia, Lucky Peaches Eating Hall + Bar is all about helping you fuel your social antics through tasty eats and inventive beverages. The place has character and promises a good time with you and your mates, which sometimes is all that really matters.

 

4. The Type That Takes Their Pasta Seriously

From the folks behind the superb pizzeria Proof at APW, Grano Pasta Bar takes the same loving dedication to one part of Italian cuisine and instead shifts it to pasta this time. Needless to say, you can expect top notch noodle and risotto dishes here.

 

5. The Type That Salutes South East Asian Cuisine

A restaurant and bar that seeks to treat you like a king? Where do we sign up? Located over at Arcoris Mont Kiara, The Majapahit takes the best of South East Asian cuisine and unites them in a single menu, promising to take your taste buds on a flavour journey. The cherry on top is that a full fledged bar is also available for your dining pleasure.

6. The Type That Isn't Afraid To Be Bold

The well known corner lot near popular banana leaf eatery in Telawi is empty no longer, with Skive taking over from the now defunct Korean bakery. The newcomer aims to serve up specialty coffee and all-day breakfast eats during the day and more elaborate dinner dishes and cocktails once the sun sets. 

7. The Type That Goes Full On American BBQ

If barbecue sounds great to you, then you should add new American style restaurant Burnin' Pit over in Desa Sri Hartamas to your "To-Eat" list. Not only limited to serving deliciously grilled meats, there's an upstair bar to shoot the breeze after munching on some ribs.

 

8. The Type That's A French Bakery

A fairly new Parisian style bakery comes to TTDI, serving pastires, baguettes and cakes made with 100% French flour. O Petit Paris is open for breakfast, lunch and breakfast, so diners can expect a casual French approach to all-day dining with dishes such as pizza baguette, French-influenced burgers and even pastas.
