A Retro Brunch Affair At SPG by Bijan
Late enough for you to sleep in, but early enough for you to still enjoy a productive day—such is the beauty of brunch. While KL's plethora of eateries will leave you spoilt for choice, few others convey more style than SPG by Bijan.
Having previously hosted a full Italian brunch in partnership with La Risata, SPG is now ready for its second themed brunch. For one day only on Sunday, September 13th, let SPG cater to your gastronomic needs with a British Malayan-themed brunch complete with an exciting East meets West menu reminiscent of that era.
A mixture of Malay and Western mains make up the menu, including Roti Jala, Mee Rebus, Pasembur, Beef Wellington, Fish Pie and Grilled Chicken Chop. Save room for sweets, which will include trifle, pumpkin pie, bubur pulut hitam, sago Gula Melaka, Kuih Keria, and more.
The brainchild of The Good Food Trio Company who also run Bijan, La Risata and The Daily Grind, SPG is an acronym for Sarong Party Grill, a cheeky play on the colonial period term 'sarong party girl'. Contrary to Bijan's fine dining take on Malay cuisine, SPG exudes a vibrant playfulness that will charm you time and again.
