From October 3 to November 20, Anya Hindmarch will be invading Lounge on the Park to present handbag pastries, smiley macarons and more.

If you missed the stylish tea party that was the Roger Vivier afternoon tea at Lounge on the Park at Mandarin Oriental KL last June, there’s a chance to redeem yourself yet with the premiere of another afternoon tea that will have fashionistas squealing with delight. 

From October 3 to November 20, Anya Hindmarch will be invading the posh tea terrace to present the cutest affair.

Executive pastry chef Anthony Hoyle and his team are proud to bring on the beautiful gilded pastry tier, pastries, sandwiches and scones crafted in Anya Hindmarch’s most iconic badges and accessories from its autumn winter 2016 collection.

This includes a full play on the collection’s quirkiness like the Tetris blocks, Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Smiley Faces, Googly Eyes and, of course, the adorable Fried Egg.

Pastries will include: 

OMG! black forest waffle cone
Smiley lemon macaron
Heart-shaped strawberry macaron
Eye-style chocolate and whipped ganache brownie
Fried egg mango lolllipop
Space Invaders raspberry millefeuille
Yellow Smiley chocolate handbag
Giant Pixel red velvet handbag
Doughnut with colour sprinkles 

They will also be accompanied by a selection of savoury sandwiches including the cajun chicken and guacamole, egg and terragon, smoked salmon with horseradish cream and cucumber and crème cheese, topped off with the afternoon tea staples of scones, both the raisin and plain variety.

The set is priced at RM108 nett per person and will be available daily from 2.30pm to 6pm from October 3 to November 20.
