The Chocolate Factory Is In Town & You Can Indulge All You Want At Hilton Kuala Lumpur
A chocolate-coated excursion awaits diners at Vasco’s throughout August in a curated dessert buffet dubbed the Chocolate Factory. Traverse the best of Europe through dazzling varieties of chocolates, as part of a special add-on to the fixed buffet spread at Hilton KL.
Follow your nose to the mouthwatering aroma of chocolates or look out for distinctive ornaments of giant chocolate bars, lollipops and a Willy Wonka-esque figure that guard the sumptuous treats. Take a dip in an extensive tasting menu of chocolate coins and chips from top labels like France’s Valrhona and Switzerland’s Felchlin, to Belgium’ Callebaut, that explore the diversity of white, milk and dark chocolate notes. Pick from striking desserts that vary each day, showcasing the flair of chef Joachim Caula and the pastry team, including profiteroles, mille feuille, cream cake, hand-rolled chocolate truffles, opera cake and verrines.
When we dropped in, there were over 20 delectable desserts laid out: we particularly enjoyed hand-rolled chocolate truffles and a Jaffa mousse with flourless chocolate cake. It goes without saying that this month’s seasonal produce highlight at Hilton is our favourite 1 yet.
