'Warisan Baba & Nyonya' at Hilton Kuala Lumpur will satisfy your craving for Peranakan food.

From May 27 to June 25, Vasco’s is diversifying the taste of its dinner buffets with Peranakan flavours. A trio of chefs – Faizal, Jamsari and Hanis will be cooking up a spread that includes some their own Nyonya favourites and specialties.

The highlights of the spread are the Kambing Panggang Berempah Portugis or Portuguese spiced roasted lamb, Ikan Pari Gerang Asam, or spicy and sour stingray, and the Nyonya Curry Laksa.

Also on the menu are Ayam Pongteh, Ayam Buah Keluak, and Udang Masak Lemak Nanas alongside appetisers like Nyonya Pai Tee, kerabu and fish maw salad. But no meal would be complete without the delicious sweets Peranakan culture is known for, and the chefs haven’t forgotten either, offering a delicious spread from the kuih lapis, to the ondeh ondeh.
