From now until September 18, The Lounge will be serving up afternoon tea alongside a selection of Chynna’s mooncakes.

Afternoon teas are already one of the most indulgent ways to spend an afternoon with friends. Adding to that luxury just in time for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival is Hilton KL who has introduced mooncakes into the affair with its ‘Mooncake High Tea’. 

From now until September 18, The Lounge will be serving up an afternoon tea quite unlike anything we’ve seen (or tasted). In an exotic steel bird cage, afternoon tea staples like chive egg and mayonnaise on bread, smoked salmon and cream cheese on rye and cucumber and horseradish sandwich will be served alongside a selection of Chynna’s mooncakes.

Three baked mooncakes – pandan paste with single yolk, white lotus paste with single yolk add red bean paste with almond flakes – alongside a few snowskin goodies will be paired with your choice of tea by Ronnefeldt.

This ‘Mooncake High Tea’ is priced at RM188 nett for 2 persons with complimentary sparkling upon arrival per high tea stand. For a taste of the Heavenly Gold Snowskin (a popular mooncake filled with fresh Musang King durian) or the gold-dusted, chocolate-filled Imperial by Chynna, add on RM52 and RM32 respectively.
