4. Jumbo Seafood

The stalwart seafood restaurant has been dishing out sublime seafood dishes since 1987, first at its original outlet at East Coast Seafood Centre and followed by its other outlets at Riverside Point, The River Walk and Dempsey Hill, among others. It remains a family favourite for its extensive selection of seafood dishes cooked to delicious perfection—iconic creations include the Singapore chilli crab featuring the meaty crustacean bathed in a sweet-spicy sauce tossed with crushed peanuts for an extra crunch. Served with fresh-off-the-oven mantou buns to mop up the sauce on the plate.

Through the years, the culinary team has created perennial favourites available at all the outlets, including the black pepper crab, golden salted egg prawns and crispy fried baby squid. The chefs also offer seasonal dishes as well as exclusive dishes in different restaurants across Singapore. Book here.

5. Greenwood Fish Market

The seafood restaurant is the place to be for a memorable sea-to-table dining experience, where only the freshest marine creatures are used in its extensive menu of Western, Japanese and Asian dishes.

It’s best to start with the cold seafood platter to share; it comprises a bounty of steamed Boston lobster, yellowfin tuna with furikake, freshly shucked oysters and New Zealand green-lipped mussels that whet the appetite for the delectably cooked dishes to come. From the Western section, you naturally have pastas like the clam spaghetti cooked in white wine, olive oil and clam stock, as well as the prawn aglio oglio tossed with chilli flakes, anchovies and sun-dried tomatoes.
