M Marini Caffè

Italian   |   $ $ $ $   |   Kuala Lumpur City Centre

The youngest sibling in the Marini's Group family, this Italian restaurant and bar attracts an after-work crowd seeking Happy Hour deals and thin-crust pizzas.

Situated at the quieter end beneath KLCC Menara 3, this is a perfect spot for those after a more casual bite pimped up with all the flair of its sister outlet some 57 floors above.

The menu clearly caters to diverse budgets—you can snack for under RM30 or celebrate a new deal with beluga and Armand de Brignac Rosé Reims.

The cold capellini pasta with prawn is as delicious as it is photogenic, with avocado, ocean trout, salmon, momotaro tomato, four plump prawns and a dusting of caviar.

Possibly the most substantial dish on the menu is a slowcooked (32 hours) beef ribs with apple barbecue sauce and mashed potato.

The signature dessert is chocolate sphere—hot chocolate lava sauce poured over a gold-cover chocolate sphere to expose a hazelnut cream magma within.
